Botswana Premier League will have access to stadiums for free for the first leg of league campaign, BFL Treasurer Jagdish Shah has revealed. Shah said this will benefit clubs in terms of gate takings which otherwise they would have to pay almost 25% of the gate takings for the use of the stadiums.
“We have been able to discuss with BNSC, and for 𝐍𝐎𝐖, we will be reviewing after the first round but for the first round games, they will not be charging anything as far as the stadium is concerned”.
Because whatever money we have given them last season, some money is still sitting with BNSC which they have agreed to right off or set off against the first round.
Shah said the clubs will also be benefiting in terms of taking the gate takings which otherwise they would have to pay almost 25% of the gate taking for the use of the stadiums,” said BFL Treasurer Jagdish Shah.
